SPECTRUM 2027

Accreditation

Every session at SPECTRUM is planned and reviewed to meet the standards of accredited continuing education. This is the record of that accreditation: who accredits the meeting, the credit it carries, and the policies that keep the science independent of any commercial interest.

Disclosure Policy Statement

Towers Marketing Group (TMG) adheres to the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education. All persons who will be in a position to control the content of the activity are required to disclose all relevant financial relationships, regardless of the amount, that they have had in the past 24 months with ineligible companies.

TMG has implemented a mechanism to identify, mitigate and disclose relevant financial relationships prior to the education being delivered to learners. A Disclosure Index — the downloadable faculty-disclosures document their page references — setting out this information is made available to participants before the activity, and the source of all commercial support from ineligible companies is disclosed to learners before the education begins.

Activities must be balanced, independent of commercial bias, and designed to improve quality in health care. All recommendations involving clinical medicine must be based on evidence accepted within the profession.

Disclosure of Unlabelled Use

This educational activity may contain discussion of published or investigational uses of agents that are not indicated by the FDA. The planners of this activity do not recommend the use of any agent outside of its labelled indications. The opinions expressed are those of the faculty and do not necessarily represent the views of the planners. Please refer to the official prescribing information for each product for a discussion of approved indications, contraindications and warnings.

Participants have an implied responsibility to use the knowledge they acquire to improve patient outcomes and their own professional development. The information presented is not intended to serve as a guideline for patient management. Any procedures, medications or other courses of diagnosis or treatment discussed or suggested should not be used by clinicians without evaluating their patient’s condition and possible contraindications or dangers in use, reviewing any applicable manufacturer’s product information, and comparing it with the recommendations of other authorities.
