SPECTRUM convenes at the JW Marriott Miami, in the Brickell financial district a short walk from Biscayne Bay. A block of rooms is held for attendees at a negotiated conference rate.

Every session, workshop and social event takes place under one roof, so the programme never asks you to leave the building. Brickell’s restaurants and waterfront are at the door, and Miami International Airport is a short drive away.

Hotel policies

These are the hotel’s own terms for the conference block, quoted as published. Confirm the current details with the hotel when you reserve.

Parking: Valet only, in the onsite garage. Overnight guests pay $57.00 per vehicle, per day, plus applicable state and local taxes (currently a 15% city surcharge and 7% sales tax). Non-overnight guests receive a discounted valet rate of $27 plus tax, per car, per day; day-use valet is otherwise charged hourly. Motorcycle and oversized-vehicle parking is not available.
Early check-in & late check-out: Early check-in is any arrival before 4:00 pm and is a request, subject to availability — to guarantee it, pay for the previous night. Late check-out is any departure after 12:00 pm and cannot be guaranteed. The hotel must be notified of either on or before the cut-off date.
Guaranteed reservations: Every reservation must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold a reservation otherwise.
Cancellation: Cancel free of charge before 11:59 pm local hotel time, two days before arrival. After that the hotel charges a fee equal to one night's stay, retaining any prepayment or charging the card on file.
