The Physician-in-Training Scholarship
SPECTRUM sets places aside for those still in training. A scholarship covers your registration in full and adds an award toward travel and hotel — so that the cost of being in the room is never the reason to miss it.

toward the registration fee and eligible travel and hotel costs, on top of full reimbursement of the registration fee itself.

- One hundred percent of the SPECTRUM registration fee, returned to you onsite at the close of the meeting.

- An additional award toward the registration fee and eligible travel and accommodation costs.

- To every sponsored session, all general sessions, and the exhibit hall.

Register at the trainee rate
Begin on the registration portal and register for the conference at the rate for fellows, residents and medical students. You can reach it from the registration page.
Complete the scholarship application
The application form is below on this page. It asks for your programme director's name and email address, so your status as a current fellow, resident or medical student can be confirmed with them directly.
Accept the terms
Read and accept the scholarship terms and the attendance commitment set out below.
Await approval by email
Conference management reviews each application and sends approvals by email. Places are limited.

Dates for the 2027 cycle
The submission deadline, the trainee registration rate, and the date on which approvals are sent will be announced. Applications for the 2027 cycle are not yet open; this page will carry the dates as soon as they are set.

The attendance commitment
To receive the scholarship, you agree to attend all sponsored sessions, general sessions and workshops, to visit exhibitor booths, and to complete the attendance form provided at check-in.
A limited number of scholarships is available, so early applications are encouraged once the cycle opens.
